Submitting Your Transcripts

As part of the application process, we’ll need to review your transcripts.

Note: The Admissions Team is working remotely as the building is closed related to Coronavirus precautions. Whenever possible, have your transcript(s) sent electronically.

Self-Reporting Transcripts and/or Test Scores – We realize that many schools are closed in response to the current global pandemic. If you are unable to request your official transcripts or test scores in a timely manner, we encourage you to self-report or submit unofficial transcripts using this link. If you are admitted and decide to enroll at KCAD you will still need to have official documents sent at a later date. Self-reporting will prevent your admissions decision from being held up by the current situation. Reach out to us if you have questions about self-reporting.

When you apply to KCAD, you'll need to ask your high school counselor or college registrar's office to mail an official copy of your transcripts to:

Admissions Office
Kendall College of Art and Design of Ferris State University
17 Fountain Street NW
Grand Rapids, MI 49503-3002
Expect delays in processing mailed items due to KCAD being closed.

If your high school uses Docufide to send transcripts electronically, please send them to code 1376 (Kendall College of Art and Design of Ferris State University). If you are unsure whether your high school uses the Docufide system, please contact your high school's guidance counseling office directly.

Once we receive them, all official transcripts become our property. We can't return them or provide copies. If you need unofficial copies for advising or personal purposes, please request them directly from the school(s) you attended.

It's important to note that if you knowingly submit altered transcripts or a falsified or incomplete application, we may cancel your admission status and registration.
