Go Folio - Youth Courses
Everyone is creative, but we all have different ways of sharing our creativity with others. That’s what makes art so powerful. The act of making art gives young people a tangible way to express their unique identity and explore how they fit into the world. That’s why we’ve created some new youth courses that connect children, and teens, in new ways to the world around us: the people, places, things, and especially the wide range of art-making methods and materials that help us express ourselves creatively.
Develop a portfolio suitable for college entrance interviews and scholarship competitions at KCAD's Portfolio Camp. Over the course of two weeks, become completely immersed in an artistic and cultural exploration that will change the way you think about your creative potential. Study both design drawing and fine art drawing. Dive into dynamic experiences like 3D printing, portfolio preparation, art theory, design challenges and 3-dimensional art.
KCAD's Continuing Studies program also offers day camps during Spring Break, as well as Summer, ranging in topics from video game design to drawing. To see upcoming courses, click here.
