Listening Ear: 24/7 Mental Health Crisis Hotline
Listening Ear is a 24/7 Mental Health Crisis Hotline—accessible by calling 989-772-2918—that provides immediate support, information and referrals for our students.
Ferris TAO Online Library
All members of the University community may use Therapy Assistance Online (TAO), a secure, private online library of interactive and engaging programs to help overcome anxiety, depression and other common mental health concerns.
The Ferris State University eLearning Department is maintaining a list of wifi hotspots around the state that may make it easier for students to stay connected and access their remote courses.
In addition, a recent Federal Communications Commission agreement states that providers will waive late fees, not cutoff service for lack of payment, and open hot spots for increased accessibility to the internet.
Ferris State University is offering all students a variety of FREE ways to stay active and work out from home:
- Down Dog App – Download the Down Dog App for yoga, barre, HIIT and 7-minute workouts. Log in with your ferris.edu email address for access.
- Ferris UREC Instagram – Follow @ferrisurec on Instagram for in-home workouts, healthy recipes, eating tips, and additional ways to stay active while practicing social distancing.
