All members of the University community may use TAO, a secure, private online library of interactive and engaging programs to help overcome anxiety, depression and other common mental health concerns.

 

Fitness Resources – Ferris State University Recreation and Fitness Department


Ferris State University is offering all students a variety of FREE ways to stay active and work out from home:
 
  • Fitness on Demand Videos - Free access to over 300 videos through June 1. If interested, email [email protected].
  • Down Dog App - Download for yoga, barre, HIIT and 7-minute workouts. Log in with your ferris.edu email address for access.
  • Ferris UREC Instagram – Follow @ferrisurec for in-home workouts, healthy recipes, eating tips, and additional ways to stay active while practicing social distancing.

Gale is offering educators and librarians free access to digital content and resources to enhance instruction and learning. Resources include: interdisciplinary, curriculum-aligned resources to support online learning; live and on-demand training materials; e-books on virtual learning; and more.

 

Barnes & Noble Education Writing and Tutoring Services


Barnes & Noble Education is making free digital self-tutoring and writing services available to college students through its bartleby suite of products.

 

Cengage - FREE Digital Textbooks


Cengage has made its digital content available for free through the remainder of the current term, giving students access to all digital textbooks and platforms through Cengage Unlimited.

 

Unity Learn Premium – FREE Video Game Software Development Tools


Unity is giving everyone complimentary access to Unity Learn Premium through June 20.

 

LinkedIn FREE Learning Courses

Adobe Creative Desktop Apps


Adobe has provided temporary at-home access for impacted students and employees, so that they can continue their work remotely. Please follow the instructions below to enable access to Creative Cloud Desktop Apps on your personal device:  
  1. Visit creativecloud.adobe.com and use your school email address to sign in.
  2. If prompted, select Company or School Account and then click the "Reset your password" link at the bottom to setup an Adobe password
  3. From the Creative Cloud website, browse for and download your desired app. Click Apps on the top of the page to view all apps.

 

Adobe Connect Web Conferencing Platform - FREE for 90 days


Adobe is providing free 90-day access for Adobe Connect, until July 1st, 2020.

 

Meero File Transfer - FREE Premium Version Access

Charter Spectrum - FREE Broadband for 60 Days


Charter will offer free Spectrum broadband and Wi-Fi access for 60 days to households with K-12 and/or college students who do not already have a Spectrum broadband subscription and at any service level up to 100 Mbps.

 

Comcast - FREE Internet Essentials for 2 Months


Comcast has increased speeds from 15 Mbps to 25 in "Internet Essentials," a program for low-income families to get internet access. The company has also eliminated the $9.95 price per month and made it free to new low-income customers for two months.

 

Sprint - Unlimited Data for All, FREE Hotspot Access


Sprint is following the FCC agreement, providing unlimited data to existing customers, and will allow all handsets to enable hot-spots for 60 days at no extra charge.
