The current social justice movement, set off by the brutal killing of George Floyd, has challenged all of us to look more closely at the impact of racism on our country and our consciousness. Dr. David Pilgrim—founder and curator of the Jim Crow Museum at Ferris State University—offers insight into the ways that racial imagery has been used in product marketing—and calls for corporations to rebrand.
