Giving is Always in Fashion: KCAD Fashion Program Named in Honor of Pamella Roland Devos
Posted October 29, 2013 in Campus, Fashion Studies, GivingThe Grand Rapids, Michigan-based Kendall College of Art and Design (KCAD) Fashion Studies program has announced the official naming of the program as the Pamella Roland DeVos School of Fashion. The program is named for Pamella Roland DeVos, a Grand Rapids native and president and designer of pamella roland, a renowned international fashion company headquartered in New York City. The naming is in honor of a $1 million gift the Dan and Pamella DeVos Foundation has made to KCAD’s Fashion Studies program, a donation that will help the new program grow and raise its profile around the country and within the industry. Accredited Where Credit Belongs: KCAD Announces Fashion, Printmaking Accreditation
Posted August 29, 2013 in Campus, Fashion Studies, Printmaking, PublicKendall College of Art and Design of Ferris State University (KCAD) is proud to announce the recent National Association of Schools of Art and Design (NASAD) accreditation of both the Fashion Studies and Printmaking programs. The Fashion Studies program is new to the school, while the Printmaking program was previously included in the Drawing program, and is now a stand-alone BFA.This NASAD stamp of approval validates the hard work that faculty members and students have undertaken over the past several years, and will be a solid foundation for future academic growth and integrity.
