Alum Puts Design and Innovation Management Skills to Work as VP of Technology for RCP Marketing

West Michigan-based marketing and advertising firm RCP Marketing has promoted Kendall College of Art and Design of Ferris State University (KCAD) alumnus Michael Davis (’10, Graduate Certificate in Design and Innovation Management) to vice president of technology.

Davis joined RCP Marketing in 2011 as director of web and interactive shortly after completing KCAD’s Design and Innovation Management certificate, which equips leaders to leverage and promote design as a change agent for business. In his new role, he’ll be responsible for leading efforts to align the company’s corporate-level strategy with technology, and to lead cross-functional teams in the development of web-based marketing solutions for a wide variety of clients.

Davis will guide the implementation and maintenance of client-facing technologies and internal applications, not just for RCP Marketing, but also for digital printing company Source One Digital and promotional products and apparel company The Gear Group, sister companies under the larger RC Productions family.
