Andrew Golombisky and Joseph Sadony IV have been selected to receive prestigious Celia Moh Scholarships. The scholarships will pay for full tuition, room, board, books and fees. Golombisky and Sadony, both seniors, are majoring in Furniture Design.

The Celia Moh Scholarship was established in October 2001 by furniture industry entrepreneur Laurence Moh, the late founder of Universal Furniture and Fine Furniture Design, to honor his wife, Celia. The scholarship program, funded by Mr. Moh ??s initial gift of $3 million, was established to provide full tuition scholarships for students whose academic endeavors would logically lead to careers in the home furnishings industry.

Professor Max Shangle, Chair of Kendall ??s Furniture Design program, stated, ??We are rewarded by the caliber of students at Kendall and we are gratified that their accomplishments are frequently recognized by the Celia Moh Scholarship committee. ?

The applications process requires candidates to complete an extensive questionnaire, write a personal essay, obtain instructors ?? recommendations and provide a college transcript illustrating exceptional academic achievements. A scholarship committee comprised of notable home furnishing industry executives selected the students.
