Kendall College of Art and Design, Ferris State University (KCAD) has announced a restructuring and expansion of its Continuing Studies program, aimed at increasing impact by reaching a broader range of the community. As a first step, the Youth, Adult, and Professional programs have all been renamed and redesigned to give each its own identity and mission in concert with the college’s overall brand refresh.

Go Folio, the new Youth program, gives young artists the freedom and resources to experience art as a means of expression, connection, exploration, and discovery.

Grow Folio, the expanded Adult program, does the same while also providing more focused inspiration to those individuals who possess specific artistic goals or skills, affording them the perfect environment to grow creatively as well as personally.

For both Go Folio and Grow Folio, the course offerings for Winter 2014 center on the theme of diversity. The courses will connect participants to the world around them through dynamic art making that expresses their individual creativity. This also entails a diversity of subject matter, including printmaking, interior design, cartoon drawing, and mixed media, among others.

The Professional program, Pro Folio, has been dramatically expanded to cater to an even wider range of professionals, offering opportunities to develop and strengthen the skills needed to be forward-thinking industry leaders and innovators. Also new to the program are team-building workshops and business-specific training sessions.
