Digital Art and Design Student Kevin Young Named Runner-Up in Blizzard Student Art Contest Game industry giant Blizzard Entertainment Inc., the minds behind smash hit series like World of Warcraft, Overwatch, and Diablo, recently challenged students from around the world to submit their best work to a panel of expert judges, and Digital Art and Design student Kevin Young beat out hordes of other entries to emerge as one of only four runners-up in the Environment Art category.

Alumna Cassandra Lockwood Selected for Unique Artist Residency Cassandra Lockwood ('97, BFA) has earned an amazing opportunity to spend the month of May immersed in the natural splendor of New Mexico's Organ Mountains-Desert Peaks National Monument, where she'll be painting the historic, cultural, geologic, and plant and wildlife features of this public land through the monument's Artist in Residence program.

Fashion Studies Programs Raises Bar with 2018 Capstone Fashion Show Common Ground, the 2018 Capstone Fashion Show from students in KCAD's Pamella Roland DeVos School of Fashion, took place on April 25. Audiences and media alike were enthralled with this fresh and eclectic presentation of original fashion design inspired by the connection between humans and the world around us.
