Industrial Design Students Win 1st Place in 2019 MWest Challenge
Industrial Design students Matthew Veenhoven and Aiden Wysocki teamed up with Grand Rapids Community College student Jake Dabkowski to win 1st place and $4,000 in the 2019 MWest Challenge, a student entrepreneurship competition based in West Michigan. The students won for their pitch of a business that would help summer camps better handle attendees’ medications.

Angela Two Stars (’17, BFA Drawing) held a solo exhibition, Language Arts, at The Sioux Indian Museum in Rapid City, S.D. The exhibition featured a series of works exploring the Dakotah language of the Sisseton-Wahpeton Oyate tribe of Native Americans, of which Two Stars is an enrolled member.
