The UW Colleges is primarily an Associates degree granting institution, offering low cost education and transferable credits within the UW System as a whole. With multiple campuses across the state of Wisconsin, UW Colleges offer a chance for everyone to gain a college education closer to where they live.

Johnson will essentially be a one-person art department at the UW Richland center, teaching 2d and 3d Design, Intro and Intermediate drawing, intro and intermediate painting, intro sculpture, and several art appreciation courses and art surveys.

“I’m very excited for this opportunity to teach such a wide variety of courses,” said Johnson, whose previous teaching experience includes positions as a KCAD adjunct faculty member, a KCAD Continuing Studies instructor, and a temporary position as Continuing Studies Summer Camps Coordinator. “It will be great for my portfolio and my curiosity.”

Johnson’s new position will be a long-term appointment, starting this fall.
