News Bite: UICA Director Miranda Krajniak Named to Grand Rapids Business Journal’s “40 Under 40”
The Grand Rapids Business Journal (GRBJ) recently honored UICA Executive Director Miranda Krajniak as one of Grand Rapids' rising young professionals by naming her to the publication’s annual “40 Under 40” list.
Each year, the GRBJ spotlights 40 local professionals who are under the age of 40 and are making a substantial impact on their community. Krajniak was selected for her outstanding leadership of UICA over the past year – a busy one that included, among other challenges, a merger with KCAD, a facilities renovation, and two high-profile ArtPrize exhibitions. She’s also led efforts to continue strengthening the organization’s programming, support network, and donor base.
In addition to her work at UICA, Krajniak also sits on the Board of Directors of the Michigan Humanities Council and is a member of the Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs’ New Leaders Arts Council.
