News Bites: Adjunct Instructor Accepted Into International Printmaking Competition

Cindi Ford, an adjunct instructor in the Printmaking program at Kendall College of Art and Design of Ferris State University (KCAD), has been accepted into the 5th Biennial FOOTPRINT International Competition.

Ford, who’s also a KCAD alumna (’06, MFA Printmaking), will be showing her print “Recount VIII,” created through a combination of reduction mokahanga letterpress and linoleum cut and stamp processes.

Ford’s print will be exhibited with the other accepted works at the Center for Contemporary Printmaking in Norwalk, Connecticut. The exhibition opens June 5 and will stay up through August 28.
