Kendall College of Art and Design of Ferris State University (KCAD) alumna Lori McElrath-Eslick (’81, BFA Illustration) is the focus of an exhibition currently on display at Winery’s Gallery at Bonobo’s Winery in Traverse City, Mich.

The exhibition features a number of new paintings McElrath-Eslick created in the plein air (French for “open air”) style. The series was inspired by her preference for painting outside, where she can respond to the play of light and shadow on her subject matter.
