The competition challenges students to hand-render a 3D room design that incorporates one of The Ghiordes Knot’s custom pieces, putting both their design and illustration skills to the test. Stafford took top honors with her rendering of a cozy living room/dining room space featuring an open floor plan and beautiful wood and leather furniture.

Jackson took a much different approach with his rendering placing the Ghiordes rug at the center of a serene and sparsely furnished room overlooking the ocean through arched French windows.
