Each June, IIDA student members from around the country compete in the collaborative event, held onsite at NeoCon in Chicago. Teams of five are given six hours to design a space, organize a presentation, and pitch their concept to a judging panel of industry professionals. NeoCon attendees can also vote for their favorite concept to determine the winner of the People’s Choice Award.
