Kranz, who attended Mott Community College before transferring to the University of Michigan-Flint to complete his undergraduate studies, will design, teach, and oversee two-dimensional studio art courses in drawing, figure drawing, painting, and 2-D design.
“Mott Community College’s Studio Art program has had a great reputation for a long time. As a former Mott student I am looking forward to returning to where I first discovered painting and first studied art on the college level,” says Kranz. “I want to give the students the same quality education in studio arts I received by providing them with traditional artistic foundations to build their own careers upon. I am incredibly excited to be able to share what I learned at Mott, UofM-Flint, and especially KCAD.”
