News Bites: Painting Professor to Jury Annual Art Exhibition in Saginaw

Kendall College of Art and Design of Ferris State University (KCAD) Painting Professor Jay Constantine will be serving as the juror for the 2016 Saginaw Township State of the Arts Exhibition, taking place this April.

The juried exhibition accepts artwork in a variety of mediums and offers a number of cash prizes. The exhibition will open on April 24, 2016 and run through May 27.

Constantine has taught at KCAD for 33 years and was instrumental in the creation of the college’s BFA and MFA Painting programs. He has exhibited his work in a number of museums, art centers, alternative spaces, and commercial galleries, most recently in the exhibition “ArtPrize: A Second Glance” at the LowellArts! King Gallery. He has also received grants from Arts Midwest/Regional NEA, Art Serve Michigan, the Michigan Council for the Arts, and the Arts Foundation of Michigan.
