Greenwood, who was a Sculpture and Functional Art Professor at KCAD for 32 years, retired in 2014 to focus full-time on his own art career. His solo exhibition "Stop Motion" was on display at the GRAM as a part of their Michigan Artist Series. It featured a number of figurative mixed media sculptures that melded the human experience with tongue-in-cheek humor.

The article serves as an in-depth look into Greenwood’s inspirations and motivations for the works that were on display, from the vanitas to surrealism and everything in between. It delves into specific pieces as well, providing a comprehensive look at Greenwood’s unique sculptural work.
