News Bites: Professor Phil Renato to Participate in Exhibition on 3D Printing and Rapid Prototyping

Professor Phil Renato will head to Phoenix, AZ on October 30 to lend his expertise in digital modeling and fabrication technology to a panel discussion exploring the materiality of 3D printing. The discussion is a component of “Materialize: 3D Printing and Rapid Prototyping,” an exhibition being held at the Shermer Art Center and Museum from October 16 through November 27.

Renato, who serves as the director of KCAD’s state-of-the-art FLEXlab in addition to teaching in the Industrial Design program and serving as program chair of the Metals and Jewelry Design program, will also be visiting the campus of Arizona State University to participate in undergraduate and graduate seminar courses.
