News Bites: Sculpture and Functional Art Alum Opens Solo Exhibition at Huntsville Museum of Art
Kendall College of Art and Design of Ferris State University (KCAD) alumnus Dustin Farnsworth (’10, Sculpture and Functional Art) recently opened a solo exhibition at the Huntsville Museum of Art in Huntsville, Ala.

“Encounters” features a number of Farnsworth’s hand-carved sculptures, each with their own layered narrative. The exhibition is part of an ongoing series at the museum spotlighting up-and-coming regional artists.

Farnsworth, who hails from North Carolina, has taught and lectured extensively since graduating from KCAD. Earlier this summer, he was awarded one of three $10,000 Windgate Project Grants from the Center for Craft, Creativity and Design.
“Encounters” runs through October 20, 2016.
