Darlene Kaczmarczyk, Professor of Photography will judge the eighth annual Artlink Regional Art Exhibition. The all-media show opens Friday December 10 and runs through January 12, and is open to regional artists (living 100 miles from Fort Wayne) who will vie for a $500 prize for three selected winners and a three-person show in the Main Gallery next year.
Artlink walls will be filled with almost 80 pieces of artwork, mostly oil and acrylic paintings and photographs. This all-media show will also have nearly 20 three-dimensional pieces including sculpture, ceramics, jewelry, glass and metal work.
Located in Fort Wayne, IN, Artlink is a not-for-profit contemporary visual arts gallery, one of the few in the state of Indiana not associated with a university or artist's co-op. Artlink sponsors eight original exhibitions per year in the Main Gallery and eight exhibitions of artist members in the Hallway Gallery. Artlink's mission is to showcase artwork of the highest quality by emerging and mid-career artists and provide educational programs for the community.
