Product Design Technology Requirements

The minimum technology requirements for Product Design are below. Be aware that you are not limited to these requirements and larger or more powerful Apple products will work as well.

We recommend purchasing your Apple technology online from the KCAD Apple Store.

MacBook Pro:

  • 14" or larger screen
  • 16gb RAM
  • M Series Chip
  • Additional AppleCare coverage

 

External Accessories:

  • Apple iPad (must be compatible with the Apple Pen)
  • Apple Pen
  • At least a 1TB (or larger) external hard drive for backup and storage of files
