ID Card Protocol
To help fuel connections throughout our community and enhance the safety and security of our learning environment, KCAD provides all students, staff and faculty with a KCAD/Ferris ID card and a lanyard to be visibly displayed on their person at all times when on campus.
In addition to making KCAD community members more visible to each other, these ID cards also facilitate access to campus resource areas and events, both here at KCAD and on the main campus of Ferris State University in Big Rapids. We ask that all students, staff and faculty do their part and be prepared to show their ID. Remember, everyone at KCAD has a critical role to play in cultivating a safe and secure campus.
Under this protocol, our campus will remain open to KCAD visitors. Per our visitor check-in protocol, guests will be asked to sign-in with security personnel and wear a visible visitor tag while on campus.
