ALL-GENDER RESTROOMS

Everyone deserves to feel comfortable using the bathroom. But for many in our community, when the only available options are gender-specific, it can turn a routine trip to the restroom into a daunting challenge.

That's why, as a college and a community that strives to create inclusive and equitable spaces where everyone feels seen, heard, and supported, KCAD has designated specific restrooms on campus for use by all genders.

CAMPUS CRIME AWARENESS

Annual Safety and Fire Report (Clery Act)

Kendall College of Art and Design of Ferris State University is committed to campus security and safety and recognizes this as an important issue in postsecondary education. The U.S. Department of Education adopted the Crime Awareness and Campus Security Act of 1990, commonly referred to as the Clery Act (Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act), to provide students nationwide with a safe environment in which to learn and keeping students, parents and employees well informed about campus security.

Ferris State University prepares this report to comply with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Crime Statistics Act, as amended by the Violence Against Women Reauthorization Act. Included in this report are three (3) years of statistics for certain types of crimes that were reported to have occurred on campus, in or on off-campus buildings or property owned by the University, including but not limited to KCAD and public property within or immediately adjacent to the campus.

*KCAD will make the crime log for the most recent 60-day period open to public inspection during normal business hours. KCAD will make any portion of the log older than 60 days available within two business days of a request for public inspection. Viewing of  the crime log will be available to the public at the Security Desk, 17 Fountain St., Grand Rapids, MI 49503.
